Look! We're Content Creators! -
At Tweedee Productions our favorite class in school was “Show and Tell.” We
love to tell people great stories about interesting people, places and things
(those are nouns). A good example is our latest project, In
the Red Zone: The History of Camp Randall. It received
the Communicator Awards “Crystal
Award of Excellence” in documentary production. We kind of like to
think of it as a gold star from our peers. Just like back in Kindergarten,
we get excited when we get to share stories like it with others.

We still
approach every project like it’s our first - only, we have
more experience. Our team of wide-eyed creatives, techno-geeks and task
masters delivers quality content and programming every time. We’ve
been doing it pretty much our whole lives. For the last 25 years we’ve
been showing our stories on TV and, since Al Gore, on the internets. You’ve
probably seen some of it on National Geographic Channel, HGTV, E!, Water
Channel, broadcast TV and JustVisitUS.com,
among others.

Gregg Schieve started the first “episode” of Tweedee
in 1998. After 20 years as a photographer in the TV news business,
he decided it was time to pursue his dream of running a production company.
Things were going pretty well, but nobody seemed to be able to pronounce
his name. Then, he and his former news colleague, Dan
Presser, started working
together more often. They decided it felt pretty comfortable, like that old
velour shirt you keep crumpled up in the closet.
Gregg and Dan decided to
work together all the time, focusing on “Content Creation” (accompanied
by an orchestral crescendo.) Turned out they were producing so much excellent
media content, they started doing more work with Sandy
Kowal, another TV
veteran. They asked Sandy
to partner up with them and formed Tweedee Media
Inc. It’s kind of
like the big brother to Tweedee Productions, In the Red Zone and Just Visit
Us.com. Plus, it’s like having three velour shirts in a variety of
colors.
At Tweedee Productions, we like to be creative and have some fun along the way, whether it’s a corporate project,
TV/web program or our latest documentary, In the Red Zone.
After
all, there’s
always a little time
for “Show and Tell.”
